Journal 1: My Playlist (Revised)

The album Highly Overdue by the group Pak X Emh is an important album to me because the members of the group are closely involved with the motocross industry. One member with the alias Justin Lucas actually has a Monster Energy Supercross title to his resume. His real name is Justin Bogle and he is an athlete in motocross that I look up to. He has a positive attitude and a hardworking personality and has impressed many critics in our sport with on the bike talent as well as off the bike talent. He has great lyrics and musical styling. This album, the week it debuted, was as high as no.2 on the iTunes best sellers list. That list included top artists like Rick Ross and Lil Wayne. No matter what genre of music you prefer, anyone can agree it is very impressive that a private record, made in spare time, by a professional athlete and his friends is impressive. What stands out the most to me are his lyrics and beats which always motivate me to achieve the goals I set and perform to the best of my ability, 100% of the time.

Journal 5: Incredibles Review (Revised)

The first time I watched The Incredibles I was, like, 10 years old. And at that time I probably jumped off my couch onto one of my younger brothers trying to beat him up like one of Syndromes war machines.  11 years later, re watching the film for probably only the second time I have ever seen it, I have notice so much more.

Journal 4: Blankets Book Trailer

Blankets by Craig Thompson
Typically a trailer for anything whether it’s a video game, movie, book, or sporting event gives brief background information, a slight summary, but never reveals the ending.  I like to think of trailers as the ultimate definition of, judging a “book” by its “cover.” Within two short minutes or so, I know if what I am watching is worth investing my time into the entire contents the preview is revealing. Until now I was pretty much unaware trailers about books were a “thing.” Books/Novels, in my opinion, are much more difficult to advertise and describe in a trailer because they are very complex and time consuming.  An effective trailer, one which reveals the most appealing themes of the book, would be successful in attracting readers.

Name Your Favorite Movie

Step Brothers

Personally, I don't believe I have a so called favorite movie.  Everyday is different and my taste in film also varies from day to day.  However, I can safely say I am always in the mood for a comedy.

Process Analysis
Our group decided that the best processes for us to teach others, that relates to all of us, is how to tie a fishing knot and clean a fish. These two skills can be very important to many people, especially, if they find themselves in a situation where they need to survive in the wild.   However, these skills are more often applied if someone just wants to catch a fish. To become a better outdoors-men and fishermen these skills are a necessity. In the following post we will show you how to do these things.
